This Original BargeBoard Counter Pedestal is handcrafted from reclaimed bargeboard salvaged from 19th-century flatboats used to transport goods down the Mississippi River to New Orleans. It is made from old-growth cypress or pine with natural grain and imperfections. The pedestal measures approximately 14” x 8” and stands on four short, tapered feet for stability and airflow. It can be used to display items such as candles, plants, soap dispensers, kitchen utensils, or decorative accents on bathroom vanities, kitchen counters, or coffee bars. The piece is sealed with a protective finish for cleaning.
