Unsigned Vintage Plastic Floral Brooch (Orchid).

Era:  These large plastic floral brooches (often Bakelite, celluloid, or Lucite) with metal findings were very popular during this period.

Design: A lifelike, three-dimensional molded plastic orchid flower in a soft pink or lavender color with a contrasting bright yellow central lip (labellum). The flower is mounted on a small cluster of stylized, textured silver-tone metal leaves. The lack of a signature mark or hallmark means it was likely mass-produced by an unknown manufacturer.

Materials: Plastic (Lucite/Celluloid/Acrylic) for the flower, and base metal for the leaves and pin-back.
