This is an authentic mid-century Italian medal of Maria SS. Di Pompei (Our Lady of the Rosary). It features a high-relief silver-tone image of the Virgin and Child presenting rosaries to St. Dominic and St. Catherine, set against a glowing backing of genuine Mother of Pearl (Nacre).
