Haegar Billfish Planter

This is an authentic Mid-Century Modern (MCM) figural ceramic planter (1940s-1950s) featuring a dramatic, leaping Billfish (Marlin or Sailfish) set atop a stylized, woven basket base. The piece is finished in a high-gloss drip glaze with contrasting Red, Black, Green, and Yellow. The form is consistent with the highly collectible Royal Haeger R271 model. Condition is excellent vintage, showing characteristic crazing (fine age patina) on the glaze surface
