The Minolta Camera Co., Ltd., was a Japanese manufacturer of cameras, photographic equipment, and accessories. The company was founded in 1928 in Osaka, Japan, as Nichi-Doku Shashinki Shōten (日独写真機商店). It is perhaps best known for being the first manufacturer to introduce autofocus to SLR cameras.

Minolta produced a wide range of cameras, including rangefinder cameras, SLR cameras, and point-and-shoot cameras. The Freedom Zoom 90, also known as the Riva Zoom 90 or Dynax Zoom 90 in some markets, is a compact 35mm point-and-shoot camera released in the late 1980s/early 1990s. It features a zoom lens, autofocus, and built-in flash, making it a versatile and easy-to-use camera for everyday photography.
