Crafted in Staffordshire, England by Jon Roth under the De Olde Historical Pottery line, this striking blue and white transferware plate was made exclusively for Colman•E. Adler & Son, the renowned New Orleans jeweler and silversmith on Royal Street.

The central image showcases the iconic St. Louis Cathedral “through gateway”, framed by classic French Quarter landmarks including Pere Antoine Alley, the Old Absinthe House, Patio Royal, and Le Petit Théâtre du Vieux Carré. It’s a richly detailed portrait of the Vieux Carré, frozen in time and glazed for generations.
