Bargeboard is a New Orleans business with a few parts — a neighborhood mercantile,  working millshop and a historic home renovation company.

Our Mercantile showcases local artists, vintage collectors, and small-batch makers offering everything from handcrafted jewelry and home décor to antiques and architectural finds. It’s also the neighborhood go-to for thoughtful, locally made gifts — a place to find something unique for any occasion.

Our Millshop specializes in custom cabinetry, doors, windows, mantles, columns, finials, and corbels, as well as lighting restoration and other detailed woodwork.

Sometimes the two collide — the millshop restores old doors and salvaged pieces for the shop, and the mercantile sells items made in-house such as breadboards, soap dishes, and other handcrafted goods.

Together, they share one goal: to celebrate craftsmanship, preserve local character, and support the creative community of Algiers Point.
